KATANA were proud to be part of the cutting edge, inner city “Warehouse Style” living genre in the Building Industry. We converted this empty warehouse shell into a Triple level, architecturally inspired 3 bedroom home with heavy emphasis on natural materials and plenty of glass. The Warehouse Renovation could also easily be used as a home office, and was situated in a prime location close to the CBD and public transport in North Fitzroy.
KATANA were challenged with the use of sandstone for all the tiled areas, which was complemented with timber floors, polished stainless steel and glass balustrade. Large glass panels and doors allowed much welcomed light, and we even used opaque glass doors for bedrooms to further enhance the light into the living areas. The Master bedroom held views of adjacent parkland, and provided a great vista when greeting the day.
Complete with North facing Terrace, cars space for 2 and 2 bathrooms, the transformation was nothing short of stunning, and represents the best of this new funky style of home for inner city living.
