The Clients at Mont Albert wished for more space for their (then soon to be) growing family, and had a strict deadline combined with a tight budget. With our Mont Albert Extension, we delivered on every front and more.
We were tasked with creating a new Master Bedroom with Rumpus beneath, along with expanding an existing cramped Living Room. Added to the list was two new En-suites, a Laundry and a Bathroom extension/renovation- all in 4 months,- while the Owners occupied their home!
We never shirk from a challenge, and met all deadlines as promised- with stunning results. The happy (and larger by 1) family have more space to enjoy their time together, and with friends as they entertain in their new living spaces.
With the help of our Architects, the design was seamlessly incorporated with the existing home producing fantastic new spaces, and many conversation topics for the proud owners (and new parents)- Congrats again guys!
We engaged Katana as our Builder for our extension after they were referred to us by our Architect, and we could not have been happier with our decision.
Our design was quite extensive, and we needed to live in it while the work went on which could have been a problem (as our second child was on the way also). But Scott and Dean went out of their way to make things as comfortable for us as they could, and the tradesmen were great also. The job site was always tidy, and there was rarely a day with no one on site working, so it was over really quickly.
Katana were great at helping with design ideas, and nothing was ever a problem, there was always a solution found without any fuss. We always felt that they had our best interests at heart, and they always made sure we knew exactly what was going on at every stage, giving us a report each week of the progress, and the plan for next week.
When we extend again, we will definitely be calling the guys from Katana!
