House Rebuild in Burnley – From Redgum Foundations to Rooftop City Views
Katana recently completed an incredibly detailed House Rebuild in Burnley, and the result is nothing short of remarkable.
This aging home needed more than a renovation—it needed a total transformation.
The foundations were made of redgum, and structural integrity had long passed.
So, we carefully demolished the original house and salvaged its heritage bricks for reuse.
This step ensured compliance with local heritage and council guidelines.
Our team then constructed a striking triple-storey home, designed to meet the clients’ wishlist from top to bottom.
We rebuilt under a recreated heritage roofline, complete with a suspended chimney that nods to the home’s past.
Inside, the new design features four bedrooms, a generous family room, and a showpiece kitchen.
Upstairs, we created a stunning Master Bedroom with a luxurious Ensuite and a concealed Walk-In Robe.
Behind the robe, we included an additional storage room, cleverly hidden within the roofline.
A steel-spined staircase with Wormy Oak treads leads to the upper level.
From the study, a spiral staircase gives access to a rooftop terrace deck and BBQ area.
Glass balustrades make the most of the panoramic city views.
The downstairs space includes another bathroom, expansive Living zone, and a premium kitchen.
We fitted it with top-tier appliances, stone benchtops, and skylights to maximise light.
Wormy Oak flooring runs throughout, tying the space together beautifully.
To finish, we landscaped using permeable concrete for drainage and wrapped the rear in low-maintenance Alucobond cladding.
