KATANA are proud to show the completion photos of our double storey Albert Park Extension. This project was incredibly intricate and detailed, with inspiring Architectural roof lines designed by Architest and brought to life by our dedicated Team.
Albert Park features a spacious ground floor Living Area with polished concrete slab serving the European style Kitchen, packed with state of the art appliances and exquisitely thought out storage areas, leading to a beautiful outdoors living area.
Custom feature timber blades bring light to the Hardwood Stairs, which lead to the dedicated Study area with custom built joinery, and give access to the tiled Sun Deck area with north vista for maximum natural light.
Adjoining is the new Master Bedroom, packed with Built in Custom made robes, accessed via another Walk in Robes,providing ample storage space, which has a premium in these areas.
A new floor to ceiling tiled Ensuite with cunning skylights and all mod cons completes the First floor area. The whole first floor has raked ceilings throughout, which reflect the extremely customised external roof line, providing an incredible feature, and bounces natural light throughout these new areas.
The existing front bedrooms have been fastidiously and fully rejuvenated, as has the Heritage facade of this beautiful old Terrace house, hiding the modern extension to the rear.
The existing ground floor bathroom has been completely rebuilt to maximise the available space, typical for the area, with a central lightwell offset from the Sun Deck above, to again bring the maximum amount of natural light to the ground floor rooms.
Externally the rear courtyard has been completely rebuilt, with feature paving providing an outdoor living area, boundary garden beds and faux grass installed to minimise maintenance, and maximise livability.
To complete the soaring rear walls of the structure, an architecturally inspired privacy screen has been designed and installed to the upper rear of the structure creating a brilliant statement which gives light internally, privacy externally, and compliments beautifully the highly detailed architectural lines of this amazing extension.
